Clean the cement thoroughly with a push broom and a wet vacuum.
Step 4 install the tiles.
To install vinyl plank flooring on concrete you ll first need to clean the concrete with soap and water and fill in any cracks with concrete filler.

And then baseboard is another leap forward it s so exciting.
Unlike stone vinyl tiles are lightweight and less complicated to maintain.
You can lower high spots with a grinder.
Sheet vinyl can be installed over concrete if the surface of the concrete is clean smooth and dry.
This additional layer can improve insulation and should make your vinyl plank flooring warmer and less resonant.
You can keep installing the tiles working from the center towards the walls.
However some people prefer to add another thin layer of subflooring between the concrete and vinyl.

Concrete is very hard and laminate isn t much softer.
